  3. As a simple starting place for an international cooperation project, I would be very interested in starting with an eTwinning project. Interesting topics could be communicating by sending cards / postcards, setting up pen pals / pen classes or having discussions or presentations about the country's culture through skype to the respective nations classes.

  6. We would be interested in starting a project covering the aspects of mass media communication and the cultural differences within. The project should enlighten the students in relation to both production methodology and media impact.

    Project period: September 2012 – June 2013
    Age group: 15-17 year olds

    Methods of communication:
    • Social media such as Facebook
    • IP communication such as Skype
    • Blogging such as Google Blogs
    • Online video streaming such as YouTube

    The project should initiate cross-country discussions about media ethics, media influence. As examples could be mentioned:
    • Violence and sexual matters in advertising and general broadcast
    • The medias’ covering of celebrities’ life
    • Medias’ presentation of “normal” lifestyle and behaviour
    • Manipulation and news
    • Freedom of speech vs. freedom of insult or censorship

    The project should include 3 or more countries to ensure cultural diversi-ties.

    We would like to cover following medias and their production tools:
    • Broadcast news – Video- and audio editing
    • Commercials – Video- and image editing
    • Newspapers – Text creation, layout design and image editing

    The project will include class visits.

    As the project heavily depending on use of computers and other electronic devices, we seek partners who have these tools available for students and teachers.

  7. We would be interested in starting a project covering the aspects of envi-ronmental issues and global heating. The project should enlighten the stu-dents in relation to both the consequences of global heating and the measures we can take to stop the process.

    Project period: September 2012 – June 2013
    Age group: 15-17 year olds

    • IP communication such as Skype
    • Blogging such as Google Blogs
    • Online video streaming such as YouTube

    The project should initiate cross-country discussions about use of re-sources. As examples could be mentioned:
    • Nuclear energy
    • Renewable engery
    • Recycling and the financial issues
    • Greenhouse effect

    The project should include 3 or more countries to ensure cultural diversi-ties.

    We would like present the outcome of the project in the forms such as:
    • Student produced newspaper or magazine
    • Student produced website
    • Student produced video-blog

    The project will include class visits.

    As the project heavily depends on use of computers and other electronic devices, we seek partners who have these tools available for students and teachers.

We, Inger and Birgitte, are interested in working online with our English classes (9. and 10. grades, 15-17 years old) on topics like Environmental challenges, Citizen of the world/Co-existence in a globalized world, A healthy mind in a healthy body, Crime and punishment in different cultures.....
    There are 18-24 students in our classes.
