  6. We would be interested in starting a project covering the aspects of environmental issues and global heating. The project should enlighten the students in relation to both the consequences of global heating and the measures we can take to stop the process.

    Project period: September 2012 – June 2013
    Age group: 15-17 year olds

    Methods of communication:
    • Social media such as Facebook
    • IP communication such as Skype
    • Blogging such as Google Blogs
    • Online video streaming such as YouTube

The project should initiate cross-country discussions about use of resources. As examples could be mentioned:
    • Nuclear energy
    • Renewable engery
    • Recycling and the financial issues
    • Greenhouse effect

The project should include 3 or more countries to ensure cultural diversities.

We would like present the outcome of the project in the forms such as:
    • Student produced newspaper or magazine
    • Student produced website
    • Student produced video-blog

The project will include class visits.

As the project heavily depends on use of computers and other electronic devices, we seek partners who have these tools available for students and teachers.
