We are a continuation school / boarding school based on general physical education., 120 pupils in the age of 15-17. http://www.vie.dk We are situated on the Danish mid-west coast right next to the North Sea.
We offer Cambridge IGSCE English as a second language for our pupils in the 10th grade.
Each year we travel to a major city in Europe during the last week of June with all the students (e.g. Berlin, Praque, Bruxelles..)
We are new in international cooperation but are interested in:
- eTwinning where students communicate
- a one year Nordplus Junior project from august 2012 to June 2013 (student visits)
Topics of interest are many, and could easily be connected to the subjects of
- English - improve vocabulary and cultural awareness through topics of interest
- German - improve vocabulary and cultural awareness through topics of interest
- Science - natural energy sources
- Health - obesity and exercising
- Biology - preservation of biological diversity
- Social studies - democratic values
Besides that we are very keen to learn more about what school partnerships and eTwinning can offer students and teachers.
