Narva Humanitaargümnaasium (Narva School of Humanities)

Narva Humanitaargümnaasium (Narva School of Humanities) is a municiple local school, where Russian and Estonian languages are taught.
NHG is one of the biggest schools in Estonia from the year 1988. 940 students study there and 88 teachers work at school. School homepage is http://www.narvahg.edu.ee.
From 1992-2001 our school specialized in the English language. Since 2003 students have began studying the Estonian language.
Our students are active and ready to socialize. Our teachers use modern methods of teaching.
Our students are active in sports. They choose healthy way of life and participate in different school activities.
A lot of our studenst study in collages and Universities of Estonia and Europe.
The aim of our school is to bring up competitive youth, who can find their way in a grown up life.
The main trend of our school is arts and biological and scientitic subjects. The special attention is paid to the following activities: studying of foreigh languages and opportunities to practise them.
We develop parthnership with universities of Estonia dealing with projects and research work.
A schoolleaver of NHG is a person who is able to realize his abilities, ready to study, and complete in the system of education and at work.
A schoolleaver of NHG is a person who values his national culture and respects the culture of other nationalities.
¨We are intrested in the following fields of cooperation:
-cultural exchange
-improvement of the knowledge of the English language
- information technology: robots and mechatronics
- innovative methods of teaching
